goToAndPlay10 is a showcase of the latest BA Interactive Media Production (the course I studied) students from Bournemouth University.

I went along to the first event this evening, and there were some cool projects to play with. Will do a little write up on my favourite pieces shortly.

Anyway if you are in the Bournemouth area, drop by and check it out. As the site says:

The campaign has won many awards over the past year, including

OMMA Awards 2008 – Best In Show
Mobile Advertising UK event Awards 2008 – Mobile Campaign of the Year

So here is the deal, the campaign allowed consumers to use their mobile phones to choose colors they liked from the world around them, and have these colors incorporated into a customized pair of Nike running shoes.

This was one of the first campaigns to exploit visual interactivity to engage consumers, and although the campaign is no longer active, it is still a great example of creative use of innovation for marketing.

Was made aware if this video by @carlmartin I love the attention to detail. This must have taken months maybe even years to complete….I love how the wall changes a number of times and they cleverly try and hide the fact.
