Pilot Handwriting

‘Hello, ready to write by hand on the computer?’

That is what you are greeted with when visit http://www.pilothandwriting.com/en/

This site allows you to capture you own handwriting and output it as a font for use on a computer. A really clever idea, one that many people have tried to do before but unsuccessfully.

Capture all of the characters in the template

Via one of three options

1. Webcam – Print out the template and then fill it out and hold it up to the camera.

2. Scanner – Print out the template and fill it out, then scan it in and save it as a .jpg

3. Digital camera – Print out the template, fill it out with your characters and the then take a picture and upload it as a .jpg

Once uploaded your own unique font is created for you to use as you wish.

Excellent idea well executed.
